Abstract. – The boundary erected by the city of Apollonia at the frontier of Galatia and Asia was intended to show the distribution of fiscal burdens, in charge of cities. It concerned the transport system for a main road and public supplies. The inscription, from the Hadrianic period, is linked to the transformation of the route in via militaris of the Roman empire, across Asia minor, between Ephesos and the Cilician Gates.
